Carolina Herrera is launching its first ever make-up collection

Carolina Herrera is famed for its bold use of colour and playful take on formalwear.

And now the New York brand is bringing the same kind of attitude to make-up, with the launch of its first ever beauty line.

Consisting of 36 lipsticks (16 matte shades, 12 satin and eight sheer shades), and compacts containing setting powders and a highlighter, what sets the collection apart for us is the packaging, which has been created to make as much of a statement as the lipsticks themselves.

You can wear each lipstick as a charm, and the compacts also double as a statement cuff.

“Traditionally, makeup is something that you keep out of sight whether on your bathroom shelf or in your vanity pouch. But it’s such a personal form of expression, why shouldn’t you wear it? Literally!” Beauty Creative Director, Carolina A. Herrera explains. 

“We wanted to give women an opportunity to wear their make-up like a piece of fabulous jewellery.”

Launching online at Harrod’s on 15 March, the collection will be available from Harvey Nichols in Kuwait from 25 March.
