‘55,000 tickets for Lyon’s Nuits de Fourvière snapped up in less than five hours’

The Nuits de Fourvière festival in Lyon has seen an overwhelming response, with over 55,000 tickets sold in a matter of hours. This annual event, which showcases a mix of theatre, circus, music, dance, and film, has been a staple in the city since its inception in 1946.

Organisers of the festival have reported a record number of visitors to the event’s website, with over 200,000 people trying to secure tickets. Last year’s festival saw a turnout of 166,000 attendees, and this year promises to be just as popular.

Although many performances have already sold out, there are still nearly 100,000 spots available for other shows. For those who missed out on tickets, waiting lists have been created on the festival’s ticketing website. Additionally, a ticket exchange will be launched in mid-April to allow ticket holders to resell their tickets if they are unable to attend.

The Nuits de Fourvière festival is set to take place between May 30 and July 25, with a lineup of more than 100 shows planned for attendees to enjoy. Don’t miss out on this exciting cultural event in Lyon.
