Lindex recruits Björn Block as new CDO

Björn Block has been appointed new CDO, Chief Digital Officer, of Lindex and member of the management team. Björn has extensive experience in successfully driving digital transformation, business development and innovation initiatives. He most recently held the position as CDO at IKEA, where he had also previously served as Global Business Area Manager for smart home. Björn will start his new position at Lindex in mid-November.

Björn is a highly committed and driven leader with extensive and broad experience in digital development and business development, and a background in industrial design. Since 2012, Björn has held several leading positions within IKEA Group. Most recently, he served as CDO, and prior to that, he was Global Business Area Manager for smart home, a business as Björn established. Björn has also led digital innovation for Inter IKEA as well as holding the role of Global Range Manager for business area lighting. Before that, Björn was SVP Range at Nobia, where he had overall assortment responsibility for more than 20 well-known kitchen brands across Europe.
