2024 Lineup for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion Announced
Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, a top 10 music festival in the USA for two consecutive years, has recently announced additional acts to their exciting lineup. The festival, organized by the nonprofit Birthplace of Country Music and sponsored by Ballad Health, will take place from September 13th to 15th along the state lines of Virginia and Tennessee, where the legendary 1927 Bristol Sessions took place.
Joining the impressive lineup are new acts such as Nashville’s Hippies and Cowboys and eastern Kentucky’s Laid Back Country Picker, along with Sam Grisman Project, The Resonant Rogues, Junior Sisk, Justin Golden, Wyatt Ellis, Parker Collins, and more. Bristol Rhythm has a reputation for discovering rising stars, with talents like 49 Winchester from Russell County and singer-songwriter Noah Spencer from Tazewell County, a former contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”
The festival also welcomes back the popular “Hoot and Holler” storytelling event from Roanoke, VA, and “Farm and Fun Time” variety show broadcasted live from the festival by WBCM Radio Bristol. The event will feature a total of 92 acts on twelve stages over the three-day festival, all for the affordable price of 5 for a weekend pass.
In addition to the music, attendees are encouraged to visit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, to delve deeper into Bristol’s rich musical history. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the interactive museum, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail.
