“New Tomorrowland Themed Design for Brussels Airlines Aircraft”
Brussels Airlines recently revealed a new special livery dedicated to the globally renowned EDM Festival Tomorrowland, which takes place annually in Belgium. The design, known as “Amare”, is part of a series of unique liveries applied to Airbus A320 family aircraft, showcasing Belgium’s cultural heritage, including influences from artists like René Magritte and the beloved comic character Tintin.
The “Amare” livery was applied to a new Airbus A320neo delivered to Brussels Airlines in December 2023. After careful consideration, the aircraft was ferried to Nottingham Airport in the United Kingdom on April 8, 2024, where it underwent a meticulous 16-day painting process to achieve the stunning paintwork it displays today.
During the presentation ceremony held on April 25 at Brussels-Zaventem Airport, CEO Dorothea von Boxberg expressed the airline’s long-standing support for Tomorrowland, dating back to 2012. Von Boxberg announced that Brussels Airlines would continue this partnership with Tomorrowland until 2028, demonstrating their commitment to the festival.
The Airbus A320neo featuring the “Amare” livery is scheduled to make its commercial debut on April 26, operating a service from BRU to Tenerife-South Airport as flight SN3782. The livery, inspired by the fantasy atmosphere of Tomorrowland, showcases the airline’s dedication to art and culture in a unique and eye-catching way.
