‘Dublin listed as one of the most laid-back cities globally’
Dublin has been ranked among the top ten most relaxing cities in the world, according to a new study. The study, commissioned by travel insurance provider PayingTooMuch, analyzed cities based on various metrics, including noise and light pollution levels, number of walking trails, happiness scores, and quality of green spaces and parks.
Dublin placed ninth in the study, performing well in terms of noise and light pollution levels, as well as the quality of its green spaces. The city also boasts the second-highest number of walking trails per person among the cities surveyed and ranks as the 12th happiest city in the world.
The study named Sydney, Australia as the most relaxed city in the world, followed by Vienna and Melbourne. Honolulu was the highest-ranked American city, coming in fourth, with San Diego placing seventh. Other cities in the top ten include Amsterdam, Kyoto, Berlin, and Prague.
