‘Final day to submit for Broadband Award on April 19th’

The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors has announced that nominations for the Community Broadband and Digital Equity Award are due on April 19, 2024. These awards aim to recognize leaders who have made significant contributions to advancing broadband technology. This year, a new category has been introduced, adding to the recognition of outstanding achievements in the industry.

The awards ceremony is set to take place at the organization’s annual conference in Charleston, South Carolina from August 25 to August 28, 2024. The event will feature three main categories: Community Broadband Project of the Year, Digital Equity Project of the Year, and Public-Private Partnership of the Year.

The Community Broadband Project of the Year will honor initiatives that support reliable and scalable internet infrastructure while ensuring affordability. The Digital Equity Project of the Year will recognize projects that promote confident and safe internet usage. Lastly, the Public-Private Partnership of the Year will celebrate innovative collaborations between public and private entities in the broadband sector.
