Six Senses Kyoto, a luxury hotel located in the historic Higashiyama district, opened its doors in April. The renowned BLINK Design Group, known for its expertise in luxury hotel design, spearheaded the creation of Six Senses Kyoto. The hotel seamlessly blends authentic Japanese traditions with modern design elements, creating a space that prioritizes privacy, space, and stunning views of the city and surrounding nature.

The hotel features 81 thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites, ranging from 42 to 238 square meters. Each room offers views of the central courtyard, neighboring Toyokuni Shrine gardens, or the city skyline. The decor throughout the hotel is inspired by Japanese traditions, folklore, and classic tales, creating a unique and immersive experience for guests.
Six Senses Spa at the hotel offers a range of rejuvenating treatments rooted in Japanese Zen culture. Guests can enjoy traditional bath houses, an indoor pool, yoga classes, and a state-of-the-art gym. The hotel’s dining options follow the brand’s Eat With Six Senses ethos, emphasizing locally sourced, seasonal ingredients for a flavorful and mindful dining experience.
