How to Improve Your Work Performance
The Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago is set to reopen its library with a special exhibition titled Teatricci, showcasing the works of Italian artist Alessandra Ricci. The exhibit is inspired by Ricci’s love for theater, illustrated books, and old wooden boxes, each piece promising a world of unpredictable threads and narratives.
Teatricci will feature installations and a selection of artworks that bring to life fairy tales, novels, operas, and new tales. The exhibit explores the magical content of old wooden boxes, transforming them into scenic and narrative spaces where marionettes come to life.
The opening event for Teatricci will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 6-8:00pm CT, with the artist in attendance. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the renewed library of the Istituto without the need for registration.
The exhibition will be open to the public Monday-Friday from 11:00am to 4:00pm. For group visits or after-hour appointments, inquiries can be made via email at iicchicago@esteri.it. More information about the exhibition can be found on the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago’s website.
