Makerspace Initiative Engages Young Innovators at Local Museum

The Makerspace events feature a Maker Cart, equipped with a variety of tools and materials that participants can utilize to fulfill their creative visions. Attendees will have access to plans for a range of projects, from simple crafts to more complex builds, allowing for experiences that cater to various skill levels. Additionally, museum staff will be on hand to offer expert guidance and support for those who wish to embark on their own projects, further enhancing the learning experience.

The event operates on an open format, inviting participants to drop in anytime between 10:00 AM and noon on the first Saturday of each month. This design allows for flexibility, accommodating varied schedules and encouraging spontaneous creativity. It is an excellent opportunity for parents to bond with their children while exploring the realms of engineering and artistic expression together.

Participation in the Makerspace program is available to all paid museum visitors and members, making the experience accessible to a broad segment of the community.
