‘National Dairy Month Celebrations at Prairie Farms’
Prairie Farms Celebrates National Dairy Month with Exciting Initiatives
As National Dairy Month kicks off, Prairie Farms is pulling out all the stops with a series of events and launches to celebrate the occasion. The dairy company is showcasing interviews with dairy farmers, unveiling new products, introducing refreshed package designs, hosting giveaways, and more.
Matt McClelland, CEO and executive vice president of Prairie Farms Dairy, expressed his gratitude towards dairy farmers, employees, and loyal customers, emphasizing their crucial role in the company’s success. McClelland highlighted the cooperative’s commitment to supporting dairy farmers and announced the expansion of their product portfolio across various categories.
One of the key highlights of Prairie Farms’ National Dairy Month celebration is the introduction of a classic natural cheese line featuring Cheese Curds, Natural Cheese Spreads, Mini Moon Wheels, and a Classic Cheese Sampler. Majority of the products in this line proudly carry the Wisconsin Cheese Badge of Honor.
In addition, Prairie Farms is ramping up production and distribution of Lactose Free Milk Gallons, Lactose Free Cottage Cheese, and Sour Cream in 16-ounce tubs in more than 40% of the U.S. market. This expansion follows a successful soft launch in April in the St. Louis metro area.
To add to the excitement, the company is debuting new packaging for cottage cheese, sour cream, and dips for the first time since 2009. The innovative design features a simple artisan look with a “best-in-class” wax seal, complementing the aesthetics of their cream cheese and ice cream packaging.
