Brighton’s music scene is hailed as one of the best in the country, with local bands stealing the show at major events like Mutations and The Great Escape. To celebrate this vibrant music community, a one-day festival called Homegrown is set to take place on Saturday, April 13th.
The festival was inspired by the team at Hope and Ruin, and quickly gained support from venues like The Folklore Rooms, Green Door Store, Pipeline, Prince Albert, and the Rossi Bar. The lineup for the festival has been announced, with headliners The Wytches leading the way. The band recently dropped a new single, ‘Unsure’, on Alcopop Records.
Joining The Wytches are a lineup of exciting young bands who have been making waves in the local scene, including Canned Pineapple, Currls, Ellis-D, Flip Top Head, Ladylike, and Van Zon. More acts are yet to be revealed, with surprise guests promised.
Early bird tickets for Homegrown Festival are now on sale for just £10, but they are selling fast. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this celebration of Brighton’s homegrown talent. Tickets can be purchased on the festival’s website.
