New Leader Named for DACHSER’s Asian Operations
Roman Müller has taken over as Managing Director of DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics (ASL) Asia Pacific, succeeding Edoardo Podestà, who has retired after more than 20 years with the company. Müller, who has been with DACHSER since 2008, has held various management positions, including Managing Director of the Korean subsidiary and Head of Sales DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics APAC.
“With over two decades of experience in the Asian markets, Roman Müller is well-equipped to lead the ASL APAC business unit into its next phase of growth,” says Dr. Tobias Burger, Chief Operations Officer ASL at DACHSER. The APAC region is crucial for the global growth of the company’s integrated logistics services.
Müller’s focus in his new role will be on driving DACHSER’s growth in the Asian and Pacific markets, aligning the company’s strategic development with the region’s evolving needs. “DACHSER has established a solid foundation for further growth in the APAC region,” says Roman Müller. “We aim to provide high-quality, integrated logistics services for intercontinental transportation and solidify DACHSER’s position as a trusted logistics partner in the region.”
The appointment of Roman Müller as the new Managing Director is a strategic move by DACHSER to strengthen its presence and offerings in the Asia Pacific region. With his extensive experience and expertise, Müller is set to lead DACHSER’s ASL business unit to new heights of success in the region.
