Revival of Hall of Fame Events by GRAMMYs
The 50th anniversary of the Grammy Hall of Fame events is being celebrated with a gala and concert, after a two-year hiatus. The event is set to take place on 5/21 at the NOVO Theater in Los Angeles, with industry veterans Ken Ehrlich, Chantel Sausedo, and Ron Basile at the production helm.
This gala marks the beginning of what will now be an annual tradition, featuring a red carpet and VIP reception on the Ray Charles Terrace at the Grammy Museum, followed by a star-studded concert. Details on ticket sales and the lineup of performers will be released closer to the event date.
Since its inception in 1973 by the Recording Academy’s National Trustees, the Hall of Fame has recognized recordings that hold significant qualitative or historical value, and are at least 25 years old. This year, the Hall of Fame will be adding 10 new recordings to its prestigious list, including four albums and six singles.
