‘Sedona Film Event – Transition From Red Rocks to Red Carpet’
The Sedona International Film Festival (SIFF) is gearing up to celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2024. What started as a vision by four women inspired by the Sundance festival has now become a globally acclaimed event that attracts visitors from all over the world to Sedona. The festival, scheduled from February 24 to March 3, will showcase over 140 films, ranging from feature films to short films, documentaries, animation, and foreign films.
Executive Director Pat Schweiss is excited about the lineup for this year’s festival, with more than 1,500 films submitted for consideration. The festival will feature World Premieres like “Rules of Living,” a romantic comedy about a multi-cultural couple, and “7000 Miles,” a love story starring Wendie Malick. Special events include a “45th Anniversary Grease Sing-Along” with director Randal Kleiser and a concert by indie-pop band, The Walters.
Attendees can expect a celebration of independent film and filmmakers at the Sedona Film Festival. Schweiss emphasized the festival’s commitment to supporting filmmakers and providing a platform for their creative vision.
