‘SunFest in the Limelight’
SunFest, a beloved music festival in Palm Beach County, is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year with Dianna Craven at the helm as the executive director. Having been part of the festival since 1996, Craven has taken on various roles, including sponsorship management, program creation, and marketing. She is passionate about SunFest’s impact on the community and its growth over the years.
Before joining SunFest, Craven worked in event management for Ballet Florida and the West Palm Beach mayor’s office. Her experience prepared her to lead SunFest and bring people together for a common goal. As SunFest prepares for 2024, Craven is excited about the lineup and new features at the festival.
Some of Craven’s favorite artists who have performed at SunFest include Lenny Kravitz and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. She enjoys a mix of ’80s alternative rock, country music, and artists like Lizzo. Despite challenges like inflation and rising talent costs, SunFest remains committed to providing an affordable and enjoyable experience for attendees.
For SunFest 2024, Craven is looking forward to performances by artists like Nelly, Cole Swindell, Third Eye Blind, and more. The festival will feature a Community Stage showcasing local talent and a Creative Art Village for artists to exhibit their work.
