Penn State University’s 2025 THON Raises Over .7 Million for Pediatric Cancer Research

University Park, PA – In a remarkable display of student spirit and philanthropy, the 2025 Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, commonly known as THON, has achieved a staggering fundraising milestone of ,737,040.93. This total represents a significant increase from the previous year’s record total of ,955,683.63, surpassing it by more than 0,000. The funds raised will benefit Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, an organization committed to supporting children battling cancer and funding critical pediatric cancer research.

The event took place at the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) from 6 p.m. on February 21 until 4 p.m. on February 23, during which more than 700 dedicated students participated in a 46-hour dance marathon, enduring physical and mental challenges without the benefit of sleep.
