Scheduled for October 23 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the event will take place at the UH Samaritan Richland Health Center, located at 1033 Ashland Road. In case of inclement weather, the rain date has been set for October 25, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

This event promises to offer an engaging experience for families and individuals of all ages. Activities will include various food options, live music, and a range of festive activities designed to celebrate the Halloween spirit. Participants are encouraged to don their Halloween costumes, creating a colorful and lively atmosphere perfect for the occasion.

Attendees can look forward to a unique combination of traditional Halloween fun mixed with family-friendly activities. The Touch-a-Truck component will provide children with the opportunity to explore various emergency and utility vehicles while learning about their operations and the important roles they play in public safety and community service. This hands-on experience not only entertains but also educates young attendees about significant community services.

Community members who wish to contribute to the event as trunk participants or truck participants, or those interested in donating candy, food, or other items, are encouraged to reach out for more information. Interested parties can call 419-774-4168 or email Paula Caldwell at paula.caldwell@jfs.ohio.gov and Brigitte Coles at brigitte.coles@jfs.ohio.gov. A collaborative effort such as this not only enhances community ties but also provides essential opportunities for local organizations and businesses to engage with residents in a positive setting.

This Trunk-or-Treat and Touch-a-Truck event is one of many activities leading up to Halloween in Richland County. For those planning their Halloween festivities, additional information, including citywide trick-or-treating hours, can be found in local announcements.
