April 14 Cello Recital: Mark Kosower and Mingyao Zhao

Mark Kosower, the principal cellist of The Cleveland Orchestra since 2010, is a renowned artist revered for his exceptional talents as a recital and concerto soloist, chamber musician, and educator. Kosower has graced stages around the globe as a soloist with symphony orchestras, participated in numerous international chamber music festivals, and recorded for various esteemed labels. Additionally, he serves as faculty at prestigious schools and festivals worldwide.
Mingyao Zhao, known for her passionate, artistic, and dynamic performances, has garnered international recognition for her musical prowess. Zhao has captivated audiences as a soloist, recitalist, orchestral and chamber musician across China, the United States, Canada, Korea, and Poland. She frequently collaborates with The Cleveland Orchestra as a substitute cellist and is also on the faculty at The College of Wooster.
