Children’s festival coming to The Mall to celebrate Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton

The Mall Luton is excited to announce the upcoming FREE KidsFest event, just in time for Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Scheduled to run from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th May, this family-friendly event will bring festival fun to Central Square while Radio 1’s Big Weekend takes over Stockwood Park.

The event will cater to all ages, with Thursday and Friday geared towards pre-schoolers for festival free play, and Saturday and Sunday suitable for families with children up to around 12 years old, featuring fun circus workshops, family discos, and balloon antics.

Attendees can get into the festival spirit by picking up a free KidsFest wristband and enjoying festival glitter from Friday to Sunday, with a suggested donation of £2 to Luton Foodbank. Additionally, those attending Radio 1’s event can receive free festival glitter by showing their tickets to the events team.

Exclusive food and drink discounts will be available throughout the event days to keep visitors fueled up for the weekend ahead.
