Chinese company launches the largest twin-rotor floating platform in the world
Chinese firm, Mingyang Group, known for manufacturing the world’s largest wind turbines, has recently unveiled a groundbreaking floating platform called OceanX. This platform is designed to accommodate two turbine rotors, making it the largest of its kind in terms of capacity.
Despite the fact that the platform can support rotors with lower power ratings, its unique dual hosting capability sets it apart as the most massive platform globally. In a social media post, the company highlighted this achievement, showcasing its innovation in the renewable energy sector.
Based in Zhongshan, Mingyang Smart Energy Group has established itself as a leader in the industry. In the previous year, the company set a new global record by selling over 100 gigawatts of wind turbines. However, it’s not just about sales numbers; Mingyang is also ahead of its competitors in terms of technological advancements and product offerings.
The launch of OceanX further solidifies Mingyang’s position as a pioneering force in the renewable energy market, marking another milestone in its journey towards sustainable and efficient wind power solutions.
