Free International Festival at Embry-Riddle in March – Open to the Public
The International Festival is back! The International Student Association (ISA) and the Center for International Programs and Studies (CIPS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University are excited to invite the public to attend its free, annual International Festival on Saturday, March 30, from 3-6 p.m.
Festival attendees will receive a “Passport” to sample authentic international cuisine inspired by recipes from Embry-Riddle’s international student community, provided by Sodexo.
Pauline Filemoni, director of CIPS, stated, “The focus of CIPS is bringing the world to Prescott. The festival is our way of giving back to the community and welcoming them to campus.”
This year’s International Festival will feature activities and learning exercises, with student organizations showcasing clothing from their native lands and providing live music and entertainment. Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus is home to 278 international students from 54 countries.
Embry-Riddle is located at 3700 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Arizona. Visitors can park at the Activity Center on campus, with signs directing the way. Admission is free, and donations in support of the International Student Fund are welcome.
