Discover Mindful Wednesdays and Thursdays: A Path to Stress Relief and Well-Being at WPI
As modern life increasingly demands our attention, finding moments of tranquility and self-reflection has never been more essential. Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is proud to offer a unique opportunity for its community members to embrace mindfulness through its Mindful Wednesdays and Mindful Thursdays programs. These sessions are designed to provide participants with valuable tools to navigate stress and enhance overall well-being in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The drop-in meditation sessions are open to all WPI students, faculty, and staff, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility. No prior meditation experience is necessary, making it an ideal introduction for beginners while also catering to those who are more seasoned in their mindfulness practices. Each session is guided by a certified meditation teacher, who will lead participants through a series of meditative practices tailored to foster relaxation, focus, and awareness.
Mindful Wednesdays take place every week from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM at the Center for Well-Being, located in Daniels Hall 102E. For those who prefer to join remotely, the session is also accessible via Zoom at this link: WPI Mindful Wednesdays Zoom Session.
Additionally, each Friday, participants will receive a weekly email titled “Mindfulness Tools To-Go.” This communication serves as a valuable resource, featuring curated information about various meditation techniques, mindfulness-related poems, and additional resources to encourage ongoing engagement with mindfulness practices throughout the week.
