In an exciting development for travelers seeking luxury and convenience in the Caribbean, Riu Hotels has announced the upcoming launch of its latest all-inclusive resort, Riu Ventura, in Cancun. Reservations are now being accepted for stays commencing December 25, 2025, which marks a slight postponement from the previously anticipated December 6 opening date.
Riu Ventura will be strategically located on Delphines Beach, part of the picturesque Cancun Hotel Zone. This new property aims to enhance the region’s tourism offerings with its modern amenities and stunning architectural features. The resort will boast an impressive total of 700 rooms, including various accommodations tailored for families and couples alike. One of its standout features will be a “raised” pool situated on the sixth floor, providing a breathtaking infinity view of the surrounding beach. This innovative design merges the experience of a rooftop pool with the shoreline ambiance, elevating the typical resort experience.
In addition to the raised pool, the Riu Ventura will feature a total of six swimming pools, ensuring that guests have ample opportunity to relax and discover their ideal relaxation spot. Culinary experiences at the resort will be diverse and plentiful, highlighted by eight restaurants that will serve a range of international dishes, including flavors from Mexico, Europe, and Asia. Guests can also enjoy a variety of environments, including buffet options, cocktail bars, and cafes that cater to diverse palates.
Targeting families, the Riu Ventura promises a plethora of activities for children and teenagers, including dedicated programming, water sports, and a children’s pool complete with slides. The RIULand kids’ activity center aims to provide a safe and engaging environment, allowing parents to relax while their children enjoy supervised entertainment.
Accommodations at Riu Ventura will feature a contemporary design with wooden floors and a minimalist aesthetic, offering both double rooms and spacious family units. Notably, the resort will provide unique “Friends and Family” rooms designed for larger groups, promoting togetherness among travelers. Although swim-up rooms will not be available for booking at the resort’s opening, they will also be available on upper floors, adding a modern twist on the classic swim-up experience typically found at ground-level resorts.
For adult guests, options will include access to the Renova Spa, providing a luxurious retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation, as well as participation in lively Riu parties at the adjacent Hotel Riu Caribe.
