‘Samsung to Roll Out One UI 6.1 Update for Galaxy S22 and S21 in May’
Samsung is making strides in updating its flagship phones with the latest software. The much-anticipated One UI 6.1 update has already been rolled out to the newest models, but now the company is focusing on bringing this update to older flagships.
According to a moderator on the Samsung Community website, the Galaxy S22 series phones, 2022 foldables, and the Galaxy Tab S8 family are all set to receive the One UI 6.1 update in May. This information has been confirmed by multiple sources, so users can expect this update to be accurate.
In addition to these devices, the Galaxy S22 flagships, Z Fold 4, and Flip 4 are expected to receive One UI 6.1 with advanced AI features comparable to the Galaxy S23 FE in early May. The Galaxy Tab S8 tablets will also receive this update with similar AI enhancements around the same time.
But the updates do not stop there. Samsung is also planning to continue rolling out One UI 6.1 to more flagships, with the Galaxy S21 series likely to receive the software upgrade in late May. Older foldables such as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are also expected to get the update, complete with Galaxy AI features.
Overall, Samsung users can look forward to a more streamlined and advanced user experience with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update across various flagship devices.
