‘Swap Winter Blues for Sun-Kissed Tunes’

Traditional music enthusiasts, rejoice! Florida’s Adventure Coast is set to host a series of open-air music festivals that will create a symphony of sound under the sunny skies and palm trees. Local singer-songwriters, bluegrass pickers, and soulful voices will come together to serenade visitors with heartfelt stories and harmonious melodies.

One of the must-visit music venues is the Florida Sand Music Ranch, nestled in Brooksville’s east countryside. Formerly known as Sertoma Youth Ranch, this property was renamed in 2022 in honor of the late Will McLean, Florida’s premier folk songwriter. The Will McLean Music Festival, held annually in March, offers three days of performances from eighty folk music groups on three covered stages, along with workshops, jam areas, and more.

The music festival lineup on Florida’s Adventure Coast kicks off with the Celtic Family Jamboree in February, offering two days of live Celtic bands and activities at the Florida Sand Music Ranch. The Florida Classic Music Fest and Car Show later in the month presents classic cars, concerts, and more at Florida Classic Park in Brooksville. In March, Swampfest Weeki Wachee and Blues Bash at the Ranch offer a mix of folk, country, and blues music, along with other entertainment options.
