‘Complete Line-up Announced for Folk by the Oak Festival’
Experience a joyful summer festival celebrating the best in folk, roots, and acoustic music set in the picturesque Hatfield Park, Hertfordshire on Sunday, July 21, 2024. With a lineup curated to delight music lovers, the Folk by the Oak Festival has unveiled its complete roster for the event.
Adding to the Main Stage lineup is the highly acclaimed American band, Darlingside, known for their mesmerizing vocal harmonies and captivating live shows. Festival Director Caroline Slough expressed her excitement about having Darlingside perform, praising their unique charm and chemistry that bring their songs to life.
Darlingside will join a stellar lineup that includes headliners Levellers, indie-folk band The Staves, kora master Seckou Keita with Homeland Band, The Young’uns, and The Furrow Collective, showcasing a diverse range of talent in the folk music genre.
The Acorn Stage will feature a lineup of emerging artists, with HEISK, Cahalen Morrison, and Lucy Farrell announced as part of the roster. HEISK offers a fresh take on traditional Scottish music with a modern twist, while Cahalen Morrison and Lucy Farrell bring their unique voices and captivating performances to the stage.
Joining them on the Acorn Stage are Beans on Toast, Malin Lewis Trio, Grace Smith Trio, and the London Youth Folk Ensemble, promising a day filled with innovative and boundary-pushing folk music.
The festival, scheduled for July 21, 2024, at Hatfield Park, will open its doors at 12:00 noon and conclude around 10:30 pm.
