The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo) has unveiled details of Teo Live 2024, a free online event set to take place on Thursday, May 23 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm CEST. This event will focus on new practices and productions in international touring exhibitions and registration is now open.
Teo Live 2024 is designed for professionals in the hosting, touring, production, and promotion of cultural exhibitions and experiences worldwide, including museums, galleries, science centers, zoos, gardens, and event venues. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about exhibitions, trends, and network with industry experts from around the world.
The event will feature a keynote presentation from Luc Jacquet, an Oscar-winning nature documentary director, and Charles Sadoul, a digital artist and live shows creative director. They will discuss how approaches from cinema and live event productions can enhance creativity and engagement in international traveling exhibitions.
Additionally, attendees can participate in networking opportunities with producers and suppliers, as well as explore over 25 exhibition presentations in the marketplace. The call for exhibition presentations opens on Thursday, March 28, 2024, with presentation slots lasting two minutes each. Travelling exhibition producers on Teo can showcase their exhibitions and portfolio, while cultural institutions seeking exhibitions are encouraged to share their exhibit calls.
Teo also recently organized two conference sessions at the 2024 Touring Exhibitions Pavilion event, held on January 16 and 17, 2024, at Museum Connections in Paris. These sessions delved into emerging trends and new experiences in worldwide touring exhibitions, featuring speakers from various fields such as art, science, design, history, natural history, world cultures, popular culture, and technology.
