‘LEGO® Art: A Showcase of Brick Creations’
The Art of the Brick: An Exhibition of LEGO® Art is set to arrive in London on March 6th, showcasing over 100 works of art created by award-winning artist Nathan Sawaya. Visitors to the exhibition will be treated to a diverse collection of sculptures, including reimagined versions of iconic art masterpieces like Michelangelo’s David, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Among the highlights is a 6-meter-long replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, an installation called ‘Kinetic Skulls,’ and a multimedia display of LEGO photography created with photographer Dean West.
Exhibition Hub, the company behind popular immersive experiences like Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience and Bubble Planet, has been working with Nathan Sawaya and his team for the past three years to develop and evolve this exhibition. The aim is to share the Art of the Brick with audiences worldwide, offering a unique and engaging way to appreciate LEGO sculpture like never before.
Marketing Director Gilles Colinet emphasized the interactive and creative aspects of the exhibition, inviting visitors of all ages to explore their creativity in a ‘Play and Build’ area. The event promises to be a fun day out for both adults and children, blending familiar art pieces with elements of childhood enjoyment and emotion.
